Didactic Cases are specially written to introduce you to the key elements of the diagnosis and treatment of 12-14 of the most common conditions you are likely to see in the Internal Medicine Center practice. The cases include a real life presentation for the condition with questions that lead you through all relevant issues of diagnosis and treatment. Links are provided to critical and current evidence-based guidelines.

This page contains the calendar and links to all cases. If you are the Presenter or Back Up Presenter, be prepared to read the case and guide the group through answering the questions. Be sure to let participants answer the questions first for themselves when you lead the session.

Even if you are not leading, work through all the questions ahead of the session using the guideline links provided.

All Didactic Sessions are held in the Bullpen. or staffing area, in the IMC. Sessions start promptly and run from 8:00-8:30 AM so plan to be settled and ready to start before then. Leaders, text your back up presenter if you know you will not be there on time.
